About Us
The Location
- Located 37 kilometers from Caen, Lili & Michel welcome you to a natural setting and invite you to discover nomadic accommodations in a traditional Mongolian yurt, a contemporary yurt, an Indian tipi, a Moroccan Caidal tent, a mobile home, or chalets.
- You will be welcomed to a typical old farmhouse in the Normandy countryside, on a 2-hectare property filled with flowers and trees. While the site offers plenty of secluded spots for meditation, reading, or simply admiring the view, younger guests will also be entertained thanks to a dedicated children's play area.
- If, on the other hand, you are looking to connect with others, the communal spaces are the perfect place to share convivial moments.
- The site's furnishings were created using eco-construction principles with recycled and second-hand materials, respecting the environment.
- You can play pool, ping-pong, and darts on-site or explore this region, popular with hikers.
About us
- We dance salsa, love music, painting, and motorcycles, and Michel plays Ultimate Frisbee.
- In the off-season, we travel around France in our campervan.

Balleroy Castle
The Château de Balleroy is a seventeenth-century château in Balleroy, Normandy.
The fief of Balleroy, near the forest and abbey of Cerisy, was acquired on April 1, 1600 by Jean de Choisy, wine supplier at the court of Henry IV.
The castle was built from 1626 to 1636 by his son, Jean II de Choisy who became State Councilor and chancellor of the profligate Gaston, Duke of Orléans, brother of Louis XIII who hired architect François Mansart from 1634 for the reconstruction of the château de Blois.
Jurques Zoo
The zoological park of Jurques is a private French zoological park located in Normandy between Villers-Bocage and Vire.

Cathedral of Bayeux
Bayeux Cathedral, also known as Cathedral of Our Lady of Bayeux, is a Roman Catholic church located in the town of Bayeux in Normandy, France. A national monument, it is the seat of the Bishop of Bayeux and Lisieux and was the original home of the Bayeux Tapestry.

Souterroscope of slate quarries
A fabulous journey under the earth
The Souterroscope is a former slate mine that has not been mined for 128 years (at the date of closure of its longest operation: 1891). It was born in a surprising way since the extraction started quite illegally at the foot of the church of Caumont l'Éventé. The Ardoisières de Caumont were the only ones in Normandy to achieve a true industrial dimension.
Today, the Ardoisières are experiencing a second breath since they had the right to a conversion. In fact, since May 1, 1994, they have been arranged and open to the visit. Now, a unique and unusual visit is proposed… From the creation of the world to the discovery of this quarry preserved in its 19th century state, the visitor becomes a miner discovering large underground halls as cathedrals. Four rooms are open to visitors:
- In the first room, visitors can discover the water table illustrated by a film about the water cycle.
- The second room "Arc en Terre" is the symbol of the pact established between man and the mine: a wonderful play of water and light is installed there. In this setting, the magic mirrors allow small and large to color the rocks.
- The third room offers a film about the extraction of slate "Caumont blue gold".
- In the fourth and final room, an extraordinary collection of giant crystals and semi-precious stones found refuge there.
The visit lasts 1 h. It is in French or in English.
There’s a trip every 12 minutes.

the Bayeux Tapestry
The Bayeux Tapestry is a world unique 11th century masterpiece
About 70 meters long, follow the embroidered story of the conquest of England in 1066 by "Guillaume le Conquérant", Duke of Normandy. The visit of the museum allow to discover all of the Bayeux Tapestry, to approach it without damaging it and understand his history and his making off through an audio-guided commentary. 16 language are availables. A junior commentary is available in french and also in english. A permanent exhibition and a short movie ended the visit.

Memorial de Caen
Found in 1989, the monument is a historical museum located in Caen and dedicated to the XXᵉ century. history Créé en 1989, le Mémorial de Caen est un musée situé à Caen consacré à l’histoire du XXᵉ siècle. The whole theme is focused on the fragility of peace but it is above all a museum of history. In 2007, it was the most visited French museum outside Paris with 400,000 visitors each years.
